A Wonderful Time Out: Spending Time with our Relatives
Hello everyone! I hope you are well and fine! It's a new week, and the last day of March 2025, days went by so fast, right? did you even feel it pass by?
Anyway, for today's blog, I will be sharing with you about the time I and my family spent with our relatives in their place. I work 8 hours daily at a feed mill company and I only had one day per week day off so I don't usually spend time with other people than my family. I make the most with my own family but this time as different.
I and my family had been not feeling very well this time, honestly so we stayed indoors for several days but it made us weaker and weaker and that is why my husband decided we go out to have a smell of fresh air and a new environment. That time, the old bridge was refurbished which was in front of my cousin's house and the bridge was closed for the vehicles to pass by making it a good place for us to stay for a while.
My kids were very excited to our walk, we don't usually go anywhere so it's a new thing for them to try.

It was Sunday so there were no construction activity that day and we are free to roam around. Along the way, we saw a huge grader which my son was very excited to see. He grew fond of construction vehicles from seeing videos on the phone and seeing them in person makes him very excited.
And look at our shadows, we look like giants and it looks wonderful and look how the kids run of excitement!
Of course, my and my husband's selfie to commemorate this event
Soon we arrived to my cousin's house and my husband showed me his skill in dart and my, oh my, he just can't hit the bull's eye, lol! My cousin's husband played with him, he plays a lot on tournaments and brought home trophies and prizes of course.

Then I sat with my cousin who is weaving a bag made of a plastic that is used to seal parcels.

This is one of her finished projects
I asked my cousin to teach me how to do it but the kids just can't sit down and let mama do some talking so I left my cousin to tail my kids especially my son.

Anyway, the setting sun was slowly making the sky more colorful outside when we went out to check the bridge. some of my cousin's kids went out to play with my kids as well and they ran to and fro the bridge , so energetic!

Then this cousin went out with his baby for em to meet, she was sick and I felt pity for his baby, It's never easy to have a sick baby and wished she will be better soon.
I felt very happy to be around that time, I felt very welcome as they left whatever they are doing just to talk and entertain me while I was there.
Our fathers has misunderstandings and I am glad that my cousins does not take their father's anger with them whenever they see me. I don't know, perhaps they took their pride and anger issues from their mother who is had a very bad attitude. In fact. I grew up not coming near my grandma because I was very afraid of her.
Soon I gathered all the kids that are around and let them sit on a heavy equipment and take a picture of them as a remembrance. It was such a very wonderful experience for me and my kids to gather the kids. They are the third generation from my grand parents! I just hope that they will be able to grow knowing t hat they are all cousins and lend a hand whenever one needs help.
This will be all for today, thank you so much for your time and support.
