Ibadan steemit meet-up was a success; and my first mc gig.

Yesterday, people from various parts of Nigeria converged at Ibadan for the steemit Ibadan meet-up powered by STACH. The event took place at the Wenovation hub in Ibadan. The hall was filled to capacity!
It was a really great event,a lot of Steemians were present and we got to mingle and learn new things about this awesome blockchain platform.

I and @mediahousent were the MCs for the event and it went absolutely beautifully. The great part of everything was that it was my first Mc gig! I am a freelance presenter,but I have always left it at that. I didn't ever believe that I could be an Mc, I always thought I wasn't funny enough or that people wouldn't love me. But guess what!!!! The people present at the event showed me even more love than I ever expected. I can't wait to do another MC job!!! Steemit just keeps helping me unearth potentials in me that I haven't harnessed.
I had an amazing time with my co-host @mediahousent he is a very friendly, amiable and receptive person.

We had a number of speakers talk to us about various things pertaining to the steemit platform.
Things like password related issues, how steemit works, how to add more value to the community, steemit etiquette, etc were discussed. And a lot of questions were answered during the event. The speakers present were:

The event gave everyone, Steemians and non Steemians a great opportunity to learn more about the steemit community and how to add value to the community. It also gave existing Steemians an opportunity to meet each other face to face and network/ socialize.

It was an awesome event, I got to meet a lot of people. And like @tojukaka said, deeper bonds are formed when people get to meet each other face to face.
