“If someone tries to destroy a document, their fingerprint changes and you get an information mismatch on the blockchain,” said Stéphane Carlier, digital director of Ulysse Nardin.

Last year, it was the first Swiss watch company to offer a free and tamper-proof Extended Warranty Certificate that uses the Bitcoin blockchain to log information about every watch sold.
