Learning about finances is vital for our financial health
Hello friends of Projet HOPE, how are you doing? Today I want to talk to you about something key to our peace of mind: learning about finances. Most of us grew up without financial education, and that takes its toll on us when we start making money. We believe that the problem is not earning enough, but the truth is that the problem is often in how we handle it.
I think this is a big problem, and that it is very widespread, because financial education is still very deficient, and even though we have a large amount of information on the Internet, we do not always look for a way to learn.
I know people who earn well and still live on the edge, full of debt and worries. Because? Because they never learned how to manage their money. They spend everything they earn (or more) and end up trapped in a cycle of financial stress. Having the latest cell phone, a car from the year or brand name clothes does not mean stability if everything is on credit and you have no savings.
We were taught that the key to success is making more money, but if you don't know how to handle what you already have, what good is it? There are people with normal incomes who have known how to invest and today live peacefully, while others, earning three times as much, remain in debt. It's not just about how much you earn, but how you use it.
True wealth is not how much you have in the bank, but how long you can live without working and still maintain your lifestyle. If your income depends 100% on your daily job, then you are not yet financially free. It's not about stopping working, but about doing it calmly, without fear of running out of money if something happens.
Learning about finances is not complicated, but it is necessary. If you haven't already, start today. Learn to manage your money, avoid unnecessary debt and look for ways to generate passive income. Financial stability is a pillar of our mental health. Your future self will thank you, of course, if we start quickly to do things much better, don't you think?
