Dormitory Distance
Flowers lay all I around me
An earring back lost
I fall to the floor.
Flowers lay about our room
Not for me
And yet beautiful anyways
Beautiful like insomnia and night terrors
Beautiful like first thing in the morning
Having to tip toe around flat lining words
The trip wires to worries in abundance
Just like flowers
And silence
And me
