Chasing Chinese Ghosts in the Dark. Respect the Dead or They Won't Respect You Alive.
There is some really creepy entities up the hill beside my home and I got drunk and went up it find out what it is all alone.
I hear noises coming from up there at night. A lonesome dog, without a home keeping the neighbourhood awake. Thumping coming from deep inside the hill that at times rattles my building. It's not the first time I went up there at night alone looking for the sounds but after this time I hope it's my last.
The trees all have thorns, big thorns, so when I slip I naturally reach to grab the nearest thing to prevent myself from falling and OUCH a thorn in the hand. The other hand is holding a small flashlight and of course I need my phone to take photos. Not the best way to walk up a rugged hill in the dark.
The view is quite spectacular though wish I was better at getting night shots, a true talent for those who get them just right.
This grave is new, I didn't see it last time I wandered up there. Maybe this is the reason for the strange noises coming from the hill in the darkness. Further up the hill is an even creepier place which I am certain was a cult or deranged persons hide out. I posted it long ago, maybe I should share it again on Devil's night in a few more weeks.
Dalian is a mystical place with many souls lurking in the shadows waiting for someone to burn money for them.
Because of the blog title I read it in a horror movie narrator voice. The thorns had to be the cliffhanger.

Very nice interesting story. I must say it requires some balls to go up there all alone at night, I'm not too sure I would fear to do that
All I kept thinking was someone was going to jump out at you....gotcha! Were you scared?
Going down was a bit scarier because I didn't know what was behind me further up the hill, watching, waiting to pounce. At least going up I know its people in their homes behind me. I would say it was creepy.
Maybe you can buy some garlic for cheap somewhere ?? lol
garlic is dirt cheap here. ^^
then you could make a huge necklace and string it like popcorn for the trees.....
I love garlic in general....that's another subject though and Im so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open so I should close up shop for the night.

I love garlic. I eat it raw and even chew it. really. haha, well, more like nibble it with my front teeth so it's easier to eat.
well, that should keep the ghosties away....just breath on them....they'll retreat, I guarantee it! lol
