Hi dear steemians, good day am so delighted to continue with my achievement-2 task, have been successful with my achievement-1 post and it was verified, though it was challenging due to some certain mistakes and error made as a newcomer during the process but I was glad to see my status verified after waiting and battling but I smile 😊😊 at the end.
Please permit me to take you through different keys 🗝️🔐 on steemit
HAVE YOU RETRIEVED ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?
Certainly Yes! I have retrieved all my keys on steemit and have been able to take some necessary precautions to safeguard my steemit account, after I knew how importance each of the keys plays in protecting my account.
DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY FUNCTION AND RESTRICTIONS
OH YES! I know all the keys and their functions and also their restrictions.
• Posting Key: It is a key used for commenting and also voting on steemit platform. This Key can't be used for other tasks such as transferring funds, that's why it's least effective key.
• Owner Key: This Key is mainly used to reset all other keys for instance,a situation where ones account is lost or tempered with, this Key will be used to recover the account in one month that's thirty days.
• Memo Key: This is a key used only in encrypting and decrypting memo's when transferring funds.
• Active Key: This is a key used for all monetary and other wallet related transactions which include transferring tokens and powering steem up and down.
HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP MASTER PASSWORD?
BY SAVING IT OffLINE :I will try as much as possible to make a hard copy of master password and file it as my important document.
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER'S ACCOUNT?
Of course Yes, I know and have to prove my acceptance here are the steps;
• I have to login to my Steem account and then click on wallet.
• It will direct me to where I have Steem drop down box, I will then click on it,a Menu box will appear beside the Steem

• After the Menu box drop, I will click on transfer.
• After clicking on transfer, I will be redirected to the next Menu where I need to put the name of the Steem user as well as the amount I would want to transfer

• After inserting the details, I will click on "Next",it will take me to where I need to confirm the transfer.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?
• Firstly, I will login to my Steem account and click on wallet.
• After clicking on wallet,the Steem drop down box will be displayed and I will click on power up

• After clicking on power up options,it will direct me to the next page where I have to put the amount to power up.
• I will insert the amount of Steem I want to power up and click on power up where I will be taken to confirm what I had filled in order to be certain of correct details imputed already

• After, clicking on "Ok"button, I will be directed to the last phase of my transaction where I have to put my private keyin order to sign a successful transaction.

• I will now insert my private key and there, the transfer will be completed and drop into the my wallet.
• Note! for all my transaction to be successful on steemit either transfer or powering up or down STEEM, I must make use of this particular Key ️
• PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY: This particular key I used it for transferring tokens and also for powering STEEM Up and DOWN My Steem.
