@steemscan is just a steemit blockchain tool that shows different things we can not find in @steemit blockchain just like @steemworld. you will find a menu tab that contains home,witness,dev tools dapps etc all these tools was developed by a steemit witness @futureshock who designed the steemit tools in a unique way.
The first thing i did is to visit the site steemscan and so the home page came up.this is the screenshot of my home page

the second thing i did is to tape my menu you can find it at the top left corner in the page to review the steemit blockchain tools .

witness

witness allow a steemit users to see all the list of steemit witnesses,status,approval (mv),registration fee etc.it also allows users to vote for any witness.
in order to vote for any steemit witness you have to select any of witness you wish to vote for and list of the witnesses then tape the vote option make sure is on the same line with the name if the witness you choose.

When you are done taping the vote option you will be taking to a confirmation area or page.click on continue to process .

When you are done clicking on the continue you will be taken to a login page where you will put username you use on steem and your and you private active key.when you are done you tape on get started to continue.

After that, you will be taken to page which is finally the last stage of the voting process then click on approve for the transaction to be confirmed.

quick convert.

These tools help users to exchange his/her steem for other listed crypto currencies like TRX,USDT,BTC.
These are the steps below.

i. first you click on the quick convert tool which will take you to a page where you can fill the amount of steem you want to convert and choose the coin you are converting to.

ii. next step fill in the wallet address where you want the destination of the exchange coin.you will have to put your active key in order to validate the transaction.
There will be a different charges for different steem amount the will be stated bellow.

these tool shows you the list of the various steemit dapps, these tool also make it easier for users to easily access these dapps,which includes steemworld,steemyy,actifit etc am currently using @steemworld devolved by @steemchiller because of is accuracy and will also like to test @actifit and @steemyy in the future.

steem price and volume

@steemscan also gives you an accurate steem to USD price fee and it will display the volume of a total supply of steem coin and the SBD given out in the blockchain.

latest transaction

The latest transaction show all the activities currently taking place in the steem blockchain. Such as comments,transfer,up vote,down voting,curation reward, and delegation are arranged based on block ID,time stamp,sender,receiver,type and amount.

latest block

here in the steemscan web application show you the latest ID and block transaction of all the steems that are being produced in steemit blockchain at the moment.
