The diary game || 01 /03/2025|| My day at farm; clearing the soil to plant maize seed and eating Oyister mushroom back home.

Farm farm farm , the farming journey just began and behold the farm season as come. Planting of crops is my hubby knowing fully well advantages of farming makes me eager to farm. Hope you all want to know how my day goes in this farming season let's checked it out.

Waking up at 5am, wasn't an easy task for me because of some heavy task overnight.
But I overcome the discouragement of the sleep. Without much morning activities we headed off to the farm it wasn't a long distance. The farm was opposite our compound,we began farming when the morning sunlight wasn't shining that much.

We began clearing the farm to remove some hard waste on the soil. Some days ago we burnt the farm,to remove some hard waste and little animals. So today we had to clear the soil to plant maize. As we all know that the burnt waste material on the soil are manure to the crops so we didn't packed them all, only the hard ones that we packed.

After some hours of clearing the soil,we began digging the soil to plug little holes to plant the pumpkin and maize seeds.

For proper crop yielding we avoid to make the holes close instead we gave them spaces which will help the crops to as more nutrients each for better yielding and production.

While farming,we found some are of the soil full with unburnt waste production,to recycle it to manure we had to burn them. So we packed them to one sport and burnt them to ashes wish we later spread them on the farm soil as manure. My mum help to prepare the pumpkin seed, while I and my sister was digging the hole,my dad was busy packing all the refuse So While me,my sister and parents where farming my kid bro was busy pluging out the Oyister mushroom on the farm amd packed them in one place. I was so happy to see the mushroom, because it's had been a while I ate them. The mushroom can be cooked,fried or smoked. It can also be add to meal as a meat.

So after one hours at the farm we round up before the sun Began shining more hotter. We successfully planted the maize and the pumpkin seed waiting for the rain to drop on them and then the growing journey begins. I rapp up the mushroom using plantain leafs and took them back home.

Afternoon and evening

Arriving back home we prepared the mushroom, cooked and then fried it. We enjoyed this delicious meal it was so sweet and delicious. I enjoyed it so well I ate it onto my satisfaction.

Thoe I was still hungry I had to eat more food. Rice was served as lunch and I enjoyed my share with cold water.

After a while I had to prepare some starch which I'll use to starch my clothes. With the help of Cassava we got on our second farm. After pilling them I grinded it, then a little water was added. After then we used net to filter the water out and kept them till the starch goes down and the water up which I pour out the water out and collect the starch. That's how I made starch using Cassava for my clothes.

While being busy with activities on the farm and at home the time was going fast. Evening comes more closer and it brings and end to my busy day, after eating my delicious dinner with my family.
