RE: 5-13-19 A Prime Day for a Mountain View and #mountainmonday post
I used to drive that road every day, Sometimes there would be a traffic jam because of caribou. I forget how long the road is, but all gravel, during break up it was especially fun to drive, smashing through the puddles and hoping you don't stall out because of the water, but the water rooster tails in the rear view mirror were cool to see. Of course there was never a lot of traffic on the road, and for a gravel road the speed limit was 55. I don't know if that was the real speed limit or if someone just stole and planted the speed limit sign, but it was easy to do 55 especially day 3 after plowing/grading.
Driving roads like that reminds me of some trips in the Balkans years ago, fun exhilarating but a little crazy as well, if we were in a rush we just floored it some times how we made it safely back to camp sometimes has to be just pure luck I think looking back now
