Louisiana appeals court orders pipeline company to pay $30K for building without permission
The company got permission to build on the property through eminent domain, but not until after it had already begun construction.
Interesting article about how a company built a pipeline on land they didn't own. Who does that, especially a big oil company? Get all your permits ahead of time, how hard is that? To me that's a silly mistake to make.
