I tried and I failed

I fell for someone who meant the world to me and he left me standing there in the cold stormy night while the other came with an umbrella to take me back. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fool my heart to love that man who loved me so unconditionally that I started hating myself. WHY?!!! But trust me I couldn't love him in that way.
