Strangers are Strange: The Voter Lady

It has been a while since last episode of SaS but this one happened to my husband @claudius.

After completing our duty to vote for the local Lord Mayor, (refer to the previous post 'Anarchopulco and the Voting Game' https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@magickred/anarchopulco-and-the-voting-game ) my family were on our way out of the area where the polling station was located. Hubby was quite ill recently and is recovering well now but on this particular day (the recent Saturday) he was in an earlier stage of recovery, still coughing a little. Poor thing.

Right, as we were leaving an older lady saw my husband coughing a little and asked if he was okay. What a lovely gesture from a random person, showing care to a stranger. She asked if he was okay and we replied that he is alright and that he was getting better. We thanked her again and started to walk away towards the car, my girls were getting a bit antsy and then she started to talk again.

The weather currently is transitioning between winter and spring, it was breezy and sunny, quite lovely. Claudio doesn't feel the cold much so on this day Claud was wearing a short sleeve polo shirt and shorts. Not unusual for him but it was enough for further concern from Voter Lady.

VL continued on a concerned and caring rant about how her nephew is the same as Claudio in how they should be wearing longer sleeves and covered neck in cooler temps especially if you are recovering with a cough. She ranted for a while and when she eventually finished I thanked her again with a smile and we all went on our way.

When she was out of hearing range is said to Claudio there hasn't been any new episodes of SaS for quite a while and I'm glad there is a new one today.
