Awsome idea for the funding! Thx for sharing! Great Content as always! What do you think of Vice Industry Token? I did not invest in the ICO simply because they wanted to much money in the ICO! And the Team had a lack of dev in my opinion... I'm keeping an eye on them and thinking about investing since the token is now half the price it was in ICO ... Might be intersting to invest at some point...
I probably would have invested if they went with the SMT route but they forked the blockchain instead. I'm not investing but I'm following it with interest and wish them all the best.
Thx for the fast answer! I will take a look dporn for sure in depth! So dporn and Appics are using SMT. Do you know another project which might be worth looking at in this space!

Appics will utilize an SMT for sure when they come out. dporn is not 100% sure yet. This asset is on BitShares.
If you fork the blockchain you will have to run the blockchain yourself (including servers, witnesses etc..) It's a lot of hassle and work but you have full control I guess.
If you just want to create a token and have no interest in maintaining a blockchain an SMT is the way to go for a project/community I believe.
Thx! That's why I was concerned with Vice, since they didn't have Steem Devs on their Team listed in ICO! I don't know about now! :)
