Emotion overflows - What to do?
Crying for hours? Feeling like a stone over your chest? Feel like crying but can't? Mind became full of emotions? Feeling like going crazy with all the emotions talking in your mind?*
I know you have been there several times, I and every other one also has the same experience. Because it's part of our human life. It's okay to get overflowed by emotions. It's okay to have some emotions we don't know, we can't name them, it feels unknown. It's okay to feel overwhelmed about how you feel.
Remember, you always can find a way to have more control over your life, you always can make a way to feel better!
Know your feeling. Don't skip if you are feeling sad, angry or bad about any incident. Take your time to analyze every bit of it. How do we suppose to know what to do next until we know it better?
Accept it. Don't skip negative emotions, don't hide your pain from yourself, don't pretend to be happy. Accept the way you are feeling and believe in your heart that it's normal.
Talk about it. If someone is responsible for your bad feeling, make them listen to you. Clear your mind, talk to people about your emotions.
Release it. There's no achievement in holding our pain. Cry, show your anger, embrace your negative feeling. It will open up the window to make you feel better.
Be mindful. I know it's hard to deal with emotions this way. But once you learn to be mindful you can have more control over how you react and respond.
Don't make it hard for yourself to deal with your emotions. There are plenty of things which people will make hard for you. So, it's your time to have the ways to deal with emotional overflows. I believe trying these things will always make it a little easy.
