Ep 5. Kpop - Sleepless Night
Sleepless is one of the popular themes when making songs.
Today, I would like to introduce one song that was koreans' all time favorite loved by many musicians.
The song 'Sleepless Night' was originally written by Par, Kwang-Hyun in 1988
First, Lee Seung-Cheol took this song (1988) in his 1st album. Lee Seung-Chul is (이승철; born in 1966) is a South Korean singer. He was the main vocalist of Boohwal, a South Korean rock band.
In 1992, Kim Gun-mo (김건모; born in 1968) made first debut with this song but the song was heavily modified to hip-hop version and gave him a succesful debut. He is a South Korean singer-songwriter, who is considered the country's most popular musical artist of the 1990s. His 1995 album, Wrongful Encounter, holds the Guinness World Record for the best-selling South Korean album of all time.

Finally, I would like to show you guys my favorite version of this song which was performed by the original song-writer, Park KwangHyun in 2009 at some Music TV show. He and his session made it very jazzy.
p.s I must slip in IU’s version which was released most recently(2017). She gave Gun-mo's version a rebirth.
