I still like how that panorama shot turned out, as well as the beach image.
I feel your pain, though. Only with my camera, it had a tendency to go back to the default setting when turned off, which could happen frequently if I were out trying to save battery and knowing I would be taking pictures of different things, in different locations and at different times. It didn't happen too often, but when it did, the last I wanted to do was be changing ISO settings when the one I'd actually set it to was just fine.
Alaska looks really nice in spring. I'd say you've got a pretty good thing going up there. :)
It was a real nice day yesterday, and some of the images are salvageable, but I had plans for panoramic shots of all the view spot stops, oh well, just means I need to make another trip on another day. Maybe the next one won't be so windy or cold. So always a cherry side to life.
