Day 19 of my Juice Fast
Today I finished Day 19 of only drinking juices. The last time I gave a good status update was about a week ago, and I'd like to tell you about this week :)
Last Saturday, August 26th, I decided to do a dry fast. Each and every day I've had about 1 gallon of juice, but Saturday felt like a time to resume my dry fasting. At the beginning of the week (Sunday) my weight clocked in at 123.3 lbs. By this Sunday my best guess is that I'll be between 122-124. We will see...I am still exercising about 5 minutes every 2 days. And I'm still noticing a difference every week :)
What is dry fasting? It is when you go for a period without eating and without drinking. If you're interested in this, check out this article as an introduction.
I've had a bowel movement at least once every other day. I do feel it is time for an enema during days where I do not have a bowel movement.
Some of my favorite juices this week...
- HONEY DEW (Melon) AND KEY LIME!!! I really liked this :)
- Apple pear and key lime.
- Orange Juice (non-pasteurized!!)
- Wheat Grass shots -- I drink these very slowly.
- I had this awesome juice of red bell peppers, jalapeño, cucumber, parsley, lemon, and I forget what else :)
- Parsley, lemon, and ginger. It's pretty strong, so I'll add cucumbers :)
The parsley, lemon, and ginger is indeed quite strong! Cherry Warnington (@wizardofraw heads up! And thank you for re-steeming Milk is an Evil Product) gave me this suggestion, and I took it quite seriously. To make sure that I would not forget her suggestion, I set an alarm on my phone to alert me every day to drink parsley, lemon, and ginger!
Tonight's Juice
- 2 bunches of Italian curly parsley
- 2 big thumbs of ginger
- 3 small lemons
- 4-5 cucumbers to dilute the strong taste
The Pre-Game
To pre-game dat juice, I had about 16 ounces of fruit juice. The taste was so divine :)
- 2 apple pears
- 3 key limes

Whats the first thing you are going to eat when your done with this fasting? If i was doing this....i would pick filet mignon
