Non vediamo molto di ciò che accade dietro le quinte e non vogliamo sapere cosa vediamo. Questa è la natura umana e io non faccio eccezione. Non è che io sia molto preoccupato per i cervelli malati di un gruppo di miliardari annoiati e con me ci sono milioni di persone a cui non importa perché coloro che devono sopravvivere vedono tutto come una gradita distrazione o una manna dal cielo o il lusso del mondo occidentale a cui i poveri vorrebbero appartenere (ovviamente senza le bollette salate e tutte le tasse e preferibilmente lo stile di vita rilassato di sempre).

Diffondere paura, trovare soluzioni e instillare l'idea di essere sociali e democratici che dice che tutti contano, hanno una voce e sono anche accuditi finché ovviamente non va male (di nuovo).

Libertà di parola? Questa non esiste e certamente non per gli artisti, l'ho visto più di una volta quando l'arte è vietata perché offende qualcuno o un gruppo. Offendere e insultare gli artisti è permesso, tranne quando si tratta di qualcuno della famiglia reale o di qualche VIP.

Mi stanco delle continue prediche sul risparmio energetico e sulla raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti, proprio come le chiacchiere costanti sul woke o su qualche altro movimento in cui tutti devono essere sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda. Lo sperimento da almeno vent'anni ormai e l'unico risultato che vedo è che tutti sono stanchi di: vegetarianismo, veganismo, raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti, depositi su confezioni, bottiglie, lattine, buco nell'ozono che è già stato chiuso, divieto di sacchetti di plastica, niente sale sulle patatine che compri, mulini a vento che uccidono intere colonie di uccelli, causano il cancro attraverso l'erosione e la sosta, auto elettriche che esplodono, pannelli solari tossici che vengono convinti a essere installati e per i quali l'inquinatore ora deve pagare con lo stesso risultato. Hunger Games, un mondo in cui le persone vivono senza elettricità e devi lottare per un boccone da mangiare per intrattenere i vertici. E tutti noi guardiamo quel genere di film e serie decenni dopo decenni. Coincidenza? Non credo a una parola di ciò che dicono: Ti aiutiamo a colorare il tuo mondo e a farti sentire al sicuro con il nostro ultimo gadget, dove tutto è nelle mani di un gruppo molto ristretto di persone estremamente ricche.
L'industria cinematografica può predire il futuro? No, ma ci dice quali saranno i prossimi passi e cosa possiamo aspettarci (con un pizzico di fortuna anche come scappare).
I get sick of the constant preaching about saving energy and separating waste, just like the constant chatter about woke or some other movement where everyone has to be on the same page. I have been experiencing this for at least twenty years now and the only result I see is that everyone is tired of: vegetarianism, veganism, waste separation, deposits on packages, bottles, cans, hole in the ozone that has already been closed, ban on plastic bags, no salt on chips that you buy, windmills that kill entire bird colonies, cause cancer through erosion and standing still, electric cars that explode, toxic solar panels that are talked into being and for which the polluter now has to pay with all the same result. The Hunger Games a world in which people live without electricity and you have to fight for a bite to eat to entertain the top. And we all watch those kinds of films and series decades after decades.
Coincidence? I don't believe one word of how they say: We help you colour your world and make you feel safe with our latest gadget where everything is in the hands of a very small group of extremely rich people.
Can the film industry predict the future? No, but they do tell us what the next steps will be and what we can expect (with a bit of luck also how to escape).
