📣✨UNFORGETTABLE TRIP✨📣 / I went to the astronomical observatory with my eldest son! ^^

I went to the astronomical observatory at the Gwacheon National Science Museum with my eldest son last evening. Once a month, the astronomical observatory invites elementary school students to give lectures on the universe, stories of constellations, and events to see stars through telescopes at the observatory. My eldest son was chosen this time, so we went there after dinner last evening. My son, who is very interested in science, was excited from the start of his departure from home, and even more excited when he arrived.

First, there was a lecture on space and space travel. There was a question-and-answer session after a lecture by a professional researcher, and my son was lucky to be selected as a questioner, asking questions about meals on space travel, and receiving gifts. It was a kit to build a Korean satellite with pieces of Styrofoam, and the kid really liked it.

When it got dark, we moved to the astronomical observatory and observed Mars, Jupiter, and its moons with a space telescope. Then we went out to the wide square and closely watched the moon. The weather was a little chilly, but we had a really happy time. And we also looked at various models in the astronomical observatory and came back home with joy.

This morning, my son started making his own satellite model that he received yesterday, and completed it in about an hour. I was really happy to see my child who was proud after making it by himself without my help.
I really want to apply for an event next month and go again. I want to take also my second son with then.
