Visiting Coldstone Creamery To Onboard Them On A Shopping Application As A Business Owner

In my previous post, I made mention of onboarding businesses with a social media presence on applications that share a similar purpose, like Jumia and Amazon, connecting them with customers, whom I will also be onboarding. This is my driving force to this amazing place, Coldstone Creamery in collaboration with Domino's Pizza.

It cost me a to-and-fro transportation fee of ₦200; if I am living from Plaza, and from my residence it will cost ₦600, but if one can trek out to Plaza, then he/she will be spending less. As I alighted from the minibus and saw this place, I knew that it would be worth visiting; I had a purpose and yet was twice purposeful because I needed to spot this on the steematlas as well.

Unlike Kilimanjaro, which has a standby security that opens a door for you upon arrival, Coldstone Creamery doesn't have one. You are to open and step through the glass door and then get hit by a wave of sensory delights. Lest I forget me Coldstone is located in the bustling city of Uyo, along Ikot Ekpene Road, a very easy-to-locate place because it is cited by the roadside. Looking at the first picture, you will agree that the distance from the road before this raised structure is almost 50 metres, giving room for a wide parking space.

On the inside is a kaleidoscope of colour; it was as if I wasn't in Nigeria anymore. This made me believe undoubtedly the words of the manager that says that "this place is not owned by a Nigerian.", although there are places own by Nigerians that are more classical than this. A glass wall covered the whole place, and only insiders can see what is on the outside.

The counter was where my focus rested; I sighted a counter with a warm lighting effect in a showcase that had ice cream cups on it. On the lintel that crosses each counter on both sides, they have a TV that displays news and their products. The staff behind the counter was dressed in red with a black apron that had the inscription COLDSTONE on her left heart region.

While I spoke with the second in command here, I observed the environment. I tried to convince her about what we tend to offer, but she refused. Just like @natz04 suggested, I decided to open up to tell them I am a blogger and would love to take pictures of their products and also write about them, and surprisingly for me, the lady refused. She said I can't take pictures of the place if I don't buy their product. At this point she didn't know I had outsmarted her already. Even though the pictures were not satisfactory, it was also helpful because it helped me enquire about the price of things they have.

AVAILABLE ITEMS

Refrigerated bottled drinks like Pepsi, Team Lemon, and Merinda (60 cl) were sold at N750. This is the least price of items sold here.

On the Domino's pizza counter the menu is laminated on it, and it is categorised into classic, favourites, premium and margherita, which have different prices depending on their size.

After I got this info, through most of the photographs I took like the menu laminated on the table, I wanted to pay cash for the least priced drink and to have access to snap more sections of this place, but the attendant told me she doesn't accept cash but only transfers. I decide to take my leave, as part of the goal has been achieved.
