Here we go again, the scratching post, cross and delight of my cats, is once again broken, in the sense that it needed an adequate arrangement, I also checked on Amazon, just to have an idea of ​​what, eventually, I would have encountered, it is on sale, identical, as is, at this precise moment at 32.85 Euros, which is why I went to get my screwdriver drill downstairs again, in the garage, to try to restore the its functionality, I was quite confident that I would succeed in my aim, I had already attempted this task another time, this scratching post actually lends itself to this type of intervention...

Cats love doing their nails, inserting their claws into the ropes, which scratching posts are usually made of, but the ropes are not eternal, nor are they made of iron or metal, so they are subject to wear and tear, especially if they are constantly subjected to various tractions from our four-legged friends, as you can see from the images I attach, it was just about time I intervened again...

At first glance, it seemed that the time had come to replace this scratching post, but apart from the Euros needed for the new purchase, I have always been against free consumerism, with this term I mean purchases that are not necessary, in this specific case I set about repairing it, I tried to bring it back to its former glory, I took a few screws, I didn't need any other frills or supports, with the final result that you can verify directly in the last image, which I send you with real pleasure and satisfaction, for the final result I achieved...

The time needed to obtain this result was less than half an hour, I used about ten screws, I tried to carefully anchor the ropes to the screws, maybe it won't last very long, but certainly, on a visual level, the impact that my work created did not go unnoticed, when my partner absentmindedly took a look at the scratching post, she was amazed, because she was on the phone with her Tuscan relative, she was stunned, telling me when I had bought that scratching post, how impressed she was, she knew I hadn't bought it, but she was favorably impressed anyway...

Ci risiamo di nuovo, il tiragraffi, croce e delizia delle mie gatte, è di nuovo nei rotti, nel senso che necessitava di una adeguata sistemazione, ho controllato pure su Amazon, giusto per avere un'idea di quello a cui, eventualmente, sarei andato incontro, si trova in vendita, identico, tale e quale, in questo preciso momento a 32,85 Euro, ragion per cui sono andato a prendere nuovamente il mio trapano avvitatore di sotto, in garage, per tentare di ripristinare la sua funzionalità, ero abbastanza fiducioso di riuscire nel mio intento, già un'altra volta mi ero cimentato in questo compito, questo tiragraffi in effetti si presta a questa tipologia di interventi...

I gatti adorano farsi le unghie, infilare i propri artigli nelle corde, di cui sono composti solitamente i tiragraffi, ma le corde non sono eterne, e nemmeno di ferro o di metallo, per cui sono soggette a usura, o logorio, soprattutto se vengono costantemente sottoposte a trazioni varie dei nostri amici a quattro zampe, come potete vedere dalle immagini che allego, era proprio ora che intervenissi nuovamente...

Di primo acchito, pareva proprio che fosse giunto il momento di sostituire questo tiragraffi, ma a parte gli Euro necessari per il nuovo acquisto, sono da sempre contrario al consumismo gratuito, con questo termine intendo gli acquisti che non sono necessari, in questo specifico caso mi sono messo dietro alla sua riparazione, ho tentato di riportarlo agli antichi splendori, ho preso qualche vite, non ho avuto bisogno di altri orpelli o supporti, con il risultato finale che potete verificare direttamente nell'ultima immagine, che vi invio con vero piacere e soddisfazione, per il risultato finale che ho raggiunto...

Il tempo occorrente per ottenere questo risultato è stato inferiore alla mezz'ora, ho impiegato una decina di viti circa, ho cercato di ancorare attentamente le corde alle viti, magari non durerà tantissimo il tutto, ma di certo, a livello visivo, l'impatto che ha suscitato il mio lavoro non è passato inosservato, quando la mia compagna ha dato, distrattamente, un'occhiata al tiragraffi, è rimasta stupita, perché era al telefono con la sua parente toscana, è rimasta di stucco, dicendomi quando avevo comprato quel tiragraffi, da quanto era rimasta impressionata, lo sapeva che non lo avevo comprato, ma è rimasta favorevolmente colpita ugualmente...
