My Space Invasion Result on Feb. 25, 2025

As the Steem Retro Cup continues to roll out, it's a shame that I wasn't on the list of top players last week. Yes, obviously because of my lack of performance. So, it will be my target to get back on the list in the next announcement. More and more players are participating and the competition is getting tougher.

I started by buying the first token to play Space Invasion, I focused on the monitor screen, and I was able to annihilate all the monsters in wave 1 to wave 10 quickly. As usual, wave 11 and above started to get more challenging.

With multiple playthroughs, I wasn't able to rack up much of a score, with the 300s always being the closing range at the end. At least with this first token I considered it a warm-up, but strangely after many attempts, my internet connection was briefly interrupted, and after reconnecting, this playing session was over, and for some reason the score I got was only “0”. Maybe @ilnegro can explain why I experienced this?

Okay, after that I bought a second token to continue playing, I was more careful and kept the rhythm of the game, using the laser at the right time and for the right duration, because the energy condition was the deciding factor. This time I saw that my score was 473, which was the best of my entire playtime. Something happened, the tokens ran out for just one playthrough, and I wondered?

Still curious, I tried playing one more time, buying a third token, to see if there was a mistake. With the same play management pattern, it was still important to think about how to save energy, and the laser gun was very effective. Until finally the second wave of monster attacks defeated me, with my score being 448. And the game was over for just one playthrough too.

However, I have always enjoyed the thrill of the game, and I am confident that Steem Retro Game will continue to evolve to provide a fun gaming experience for Steemians.
