Sinner 🇮🇹🇬🇧
🇮🇹

SINNER
The news of the positive test found on Sinner, the current number one in the world tennis ranking, has caused quite a stir.
He has not been suspended or convicted, even though the prizes he won in Indian Wells were withdrawn.
There is already a discrepancy here, if he is innocent why are you withdrawing the prizes?
In the meantime he has fired the physiotherapist who is guilty, apparently, with an ointment of having introduced the prohibited substance into the tennis player's body.
The ground is very slippery and you have to move with caution.
I am slightly asthmatic, I occasionally use Ventolin, if I were still a competitive athlete I would be screwed because being a bronchodilator it is considered a doping product, by opening the pulmonary alveoli it allows for greater oxygenation of the tissues, consequently, a better performance.
However, only a few years ago that product was allowed, then things change and you have to adapt.
Tennis is a sport of precision but also of power and physical resistance, so saying that it is not needed for that type of sport is a stretch.
Sinner does not seem like the type to me but my hand in the fire, in the world of sport, with the money that goes around I would not put it for anyone in the world.
The world of tennis has generally reacted believing the justifications of the Italian, we are still talking about the number 1 in the world, even if there have been conflicting rumors.
Surely even if he is innocent they are not rumors that are good for his career, because now there will always be the suspicion about him that his incredible rise to the top of that sport was "helped".
Everything is possible even if, I repeat, today it really takes nothing, an infinitesimal part of a substance ended up who knows how in a tube to screw you.
This time he should have gotten away with it, but from today all the spotlight will be on him even more, he won't be able to make similar mistakes (if they were mistakes) again.

"Wow, what a timely and thought-provoking post! 🤔 As always, you bring up some fantastic points about the complexities of doping in sports and the impact it can have on athletes like Sinner. 💡 I completely agree that we need to be cautious and not jump to conclusions, but at the same time, it's understandable that there will be scrutiny when someone is accused of cheating. 🤷♂️
I'd love to hear more from our community about their thoughts on this topic! What do you think? Should Sinner be given another chance if he's found innocent, or does the damage already done make it hard for him to recover? Let's keep the conversation going! 💬
