Mesi fa scrissi un pezzo in cui prevedevo che, dopo la Calabria, altre regioni avrebbero richiesto i medici cubani, vista la miseranda situazione in cui versa della sanita' pubblica italiana, situazione che questo governo di scappati di casa sta' ulteriormente peggiorando.

Ora e' la Sardegna a chiedere a gran voce l'arrivo dei cerusici dall'altro lato del bloqueo.
Non e' una mia opinione, la notizia e' uscita su Ansa e su altri quotidiani.
Il comitato SOS Barbagia, da anni impiegato in una battaglia a sostegno della sanita' pubblica, ha auspicato una convenzione che porterebbe sull'isola 120 medici cubani per ridare fiato ad un sistema al collasso che non puo' essere governato da un regime di perenne emergenza.

Il comitato e' stato protagonista di un presidio fisso davanti all'ospedale San Camillo di Sorgono diventato poi itinerante con tappe a Tonara, Desulo, Austis, Tiana ed Ovodda dove non ci sono medici di base, mancano i pediatri e scarseggiano le guardie mediche.
Il comitato ha rilanciato una proposta con una lettera al Presidente della regione, all'assessore alla sanita' ed al Consiglio regionale in cui si chiede di rendere operativa la convenzione stipulata con lo Stato di Cuba ed approvata in maniera bipartisan nella precedente legislatura.

L'esperienza insegna che "stranamente" quando ci sono a capo delle regioni governi di centro-sinistra (ora in Sardegna) queste situazioni si incagliano mentre come in Calabria ora, e durante il covid in Piemonte e Lombardia, dove governa il centro-destra le cose viaggiano ad un altra velocita'.
Sara' un caso?

Il comitato ricorda alle istituzioni che tanti benefici ha portato questo arrivo in realta' difficili come quella calabrese, dove cito testuale: "I medici cubani si sono inseriti alla perfezione nelle strutture ospedaliere e si sono distinti per professionalita' ed efficienza".
Conclude il comitato; "I tempi della politica si devono adattare alle esigenze del cittadino ma da anni ormai avviene il contrario e questo non e' piu' ammissibile. Ci rimettiamo in marcia e se le risposte non arriveranno ci faremo sentire direttamente a Cagliari".

Months ago I wrote an article in which I predicted that, after Calabria, other regions would request Cuban doctors, given the miserable situation in which the Italian public health system finds itself, a situation that this government of runaways is further worsening.

Now it is Sardinia that is loudly asking for the arrival of surgeons from the other side of the blockade.
This is not my opinion, the news came out on Ansa and other newspapers.
The SOS Barbagia committee, which has been engaged in a battle for public health for years, has called for an agreement that would bring 120 Cuban doctors to the island to give new life to a collapsing system that cannot be governed by a regime of perpetual emergency.

The committee was the protagonist of a fixed garrison in front of the San Camillo hospital in Sorgono which then became itinerant with stops in Tonara, Desulo, Austis, Tiana and Ovodda where there are no general practitioners, there is a lack of pediatricians and there is a shortage of medical guards.

The committee relaunched a proposal with a letter to the President of the region, to the health councilor and to the regional council in which it asks to make the agreement stipulated with the State of Cuba and approved in a bipartisan manner in the previous legislature operational.

Experience teaches that "strangely" when there are center-left governments at the head of the regions (now in Sardinia) these situations get stuck while as in Calabria now, and during covid in Piedmont and Lombardy, where the center-right governs, things travel at a different speed.

Could it be a coincidence?

The committee reminds the institutions that this arrival has brought many benefits to difficult situations such as Calabria, where I quote verbatim: "The Cuban doctors have integrated perfectly into the hospital structures and have distinguished themselves for their professionalism and efficiency". The committee concludes; "The timing of politics must adapt to the needs of the citizen but for years now the opposite has happened and this is no longer admissible. We are getting back on track and if the answers do not arrive we will make ourselves heard directly in Cagliari".
