Il cubano è la creatura più cattiva che ci sia. Tanto che chi ha potuto votare, lo ha fatto a favore di Trump, anche avendo la madre o qualche familiare aspettando in Messico"

Queste parole scritte su Facebook da una cubana non possono non spingerci a fare qualche riflessione.
Aggiungo come contributo personale il fatto che una buona parte dei cubani, con cui ho parlato nei giorni delle elezioni, visto che ero a Las Tunas, facevano il tifo per il tycoon.
Questo, come ha indicato l'autrice del post che ho riportato, malgrado che avessero magari famigliari cruzando fronteras, o gia' negli Usa, sapendo bene che nulla di buono sarebbe arrivato con Trump al potere per Cuba, quindi anche per loro.
Perche' questo atteggiamento?

Faccio ipotesi mie che non fanno certamente giurisprudenza.
Per quanto riguarda le persone con cui ho parlato a Las Tunas non escludo una forma di sana invidia, del resto questo lo possiamo constatare anche nel web cubano o in ciò che ne resta.
La stragrande maggioranza di quelli che parlano merda di Cuba lo fanno perche' non po$$ono piu' andarci, quindi se non possono andarci loro ci deve andare meno gente possibile.
Semplicemente le persone con cui ho parlato magari avrebbero voluto essere al posto di chi se ne e' andato, ma visto che non e' successo allora...si fottano e Trump cacci via tutti.

C'e poi chi ha votato Trump per odio nei confronti del governo cubano, gente che spera di vedere i marines che sbarcano all'Avana o a Puerto Padre per conquistare il paese, quindi chiunque come Rubio prometta disastri verso Cuba e' il loro candidato.
Visto pero' che hanno madre, padre, sorelle e famiglia a Cuba lo sperare il peggio possibile per l'isola mi fa equiparare questi personaggi a chi, per fare un dispetto alla moglie, si taglia l'uccello.

Forse pero' c'e' anche un retaggio piu' antico, ancora presente nelle vecchie generazioni e per riflesso trasferitosi nel dna delle nuove.
L'uomo forte.
Per decenni hanno visto un uomo in divisa verde, con la pistola nella fondina e la barba che raccontava loro per ore ed ore come dovevano comportarsi, cosa dovevano fare, una forma di nostalgia per chi si occupava di te dalla culla alla tomba non escludo che possa essere rimasto in loro.
Trump incarna sicuramente questo tipo di personaggio, ovviamente senza nessun accostamento (sarebbe un offesa mortale) col personaggio che ho citato prima.

Aggiungo e concludo con un altro fattore non trascurabile; "Sono arrivato qua' 20 anni fa in balsa, mi sono fatto il culo facendo 3 lavori, ora ho una casa, sono inserito nella comunita', sono uno di "loro", io ce l'ho fatta....gli altri che arrivano adesso e che vogliono entrare... si fottano"
Una difesa dello status quo duramente conquistato e, si ritiene, messo a rischio da altri che arrivano dallo stesso loro paese di....prima.
Ora che si sentono "yankee" rinnegano i nuovi arrivati e chi cerca di entrare con tutte le loro forze.

These words written on Facebook by a Cuban cannot but push us to do some reflection.
I would like to add as a personal contribution the fact that a good part of the Cubans, with whom I spoke during the days of the elections, since I was in Las Tunas, were rooting for the tycoon.
This, as the author of the post I reported indicated, despite the fact that perhaps they had relatives cruzando fronteras, or already in the US, knowing full well that nothing good would come with Trump in power for Cuba, therefore also for them.
Why this attitude?

I make my own hypotheses that certainly do not create jurisprudence.
As for the people I spoke with in Las Tunas, I do not exclude a form of healthy envy, after all we can also see this on the Cuban web or in what remains of it.
The vast majority of those who talk shit about Cuba do so because they do not can go there anymore, so if they can't go, as few people as possible should go.
Simply put, the people I spoke to would have liked to be in the place of those who left, but since that didn't happen, then... screw them and Trump should kick everyone out.

Then there are those who voted for Trump out of hatred for the Cuban government, people who hope to see the marines land in Havana or Puerto Padre to conquer the country, so anyone like Rubio who promises disasters for Cuba is their candidate.
However, since they have a mother, father, sisters and family in Cuba, hoping for the worst possible for the island makes me equate these people to those who, to spite their wife, cut off their dick.

Perhaps, however, there is also an older legacy, still present in the older generations and by reflection transferred into the DNA of the new ones.
The strong man.
For decades they have seen a man in a green uniform, with a gun in his holster and a beard who told them for hours and hours how they had to behave, what they had to do, a form of nostalgia for those who took care of you from the cradle to the grave I do not exclude that it may have remained in them.
Trump certainly embodies this type of character, obviously without any comparison (it would be a mortal offense) with the character I mentioned before.

I add and conclude with another non-negligible factor; "I arrived here 20 years ago in balsa, I worked my ass off doing 3 jobs, now I have a house, I am integrated into the community, I am one of "them", I made it .... the others who arrive now and who want to enter ... screw themselves"
A defense of the hard-won status quo and, it is believed, put at risk by others who arrive from the same country as them as .... before.
Now that they feel "Yankee" they disown the new arrivals and those who try to enter with all their strength.
