Il torneo di tennis di Parigi di tennis, uno dei 4 del grande slam, si chiude in maniera enormemente positiva per i colori italiani, peccato che alla copiosa torta sono mancate le ciliegine.

Sinner perde in semifinale con Alcaraz al quinto set.
Ci puo' stare, il nostro non era fisicamente al meglio per i noti problemi all'anca, la terra rossa richiede uno sforzo fisico
particolare visto che e' una superficie piu' lenta rispetto alle altre.
I due si equivalgono, se non ci saranno problemi fisici potranno comandare il tennis per i prossimi 10 anni.
Alcaraz e' meglio sul rosso, Sinner sulle superfici piu' veloci.
Intanto oggi il nostro campione e' il numero uno al mondo.

La Paolini arriva in finale e perde con la numero uno al mondo.
Jasmine ha fatto un grande torneo, arrivando dove non era mai arrivata, probabilmente salira' nel ranking fino al settimo posto.
In finale non c'erano speranze ma il torneo e' stato bellissimo lo
stesso.

In finale di doppio femminile sempre la Paolini con l'eterna Errani arrivano in finale e perdono contro una coppia piu' quotata, peccato perche' la vittoria era a portata di mano.
Vavassori e Bolelli arrivano in finale nel doppio maschile contro una coppia, invece, meno quotata e perdono, questo e' stata davvero una bella occasione buttata via.

Comunque i due doppi ci rappresenteranno alle Olimpiadi di
Parigi e sicuramente faranno bene.
Come dicevo ad inizio pezzo, arrivare in 3 finali su 4 e non vincerne nessuna e' un grosso peccato pero' il movimento del
tennis italiano e' in enorme sviluppo come dimostrano anche le belle partite giocate a Parigi dagli altri italiani.
Ora sotto con Wimbledon, sull'erba davvero Sinner parte con i favori del pronostico.

Sinner loses in the semifinal to Alcaraz in the fifth set.
It's okay, ours wasn't physically at his best due to his well-known hip problems, the red clay requires physical effort
particular given that it is a slower surface than the others.
The two are equal, if there are no physical problems they will be able to dominate tennis for the next 10 years.
Alcaraz is better on clay, Sinner on faster surfaces.
Meanwhile, today our champion is number one in the world.

Paolini reaches the final and loses to the world number one.
Jasmine had a great tournament, arriving where she had never arrived before, she will probably rise in the ranking to seventh place.
There was no hope in the final but the tournament was beautiful
same.

In the women's doubles final, Paolini and the eternal Errani reach the final and lose against a more popular pair, a shame because victory was within reach.
Vavassori and Bolelli reach the final in the men's doubles against a less popular pair and they lose, this was a truly great opportunity wasted.

However the two doubles will represent us at the Olympics
Paris and they will certainly do well.
As I said at the beginning of the piece, reaching 3 out of 4 finals and not winning any of them is a big shame but the movement of the
Italian tennis is developing enormously as demonstrated by the good matches played in Paris by other Italians.
Now down with Wimbledon, on the grass Sinner really starts with the underdogs.
