Hello . Its great to be part of the steemit community. I feel this platform will grow and grow in a very positive and creative way.
No adverts to .... heaven.
My name is Nick, I'm from London , UK. I write, produce and play music in a variety of genres and have worked in music most of my adult life either playing in a band or tour managing or just about anything else that needed doing . I began my time in music when i was 17 at a legendary studio called Jumbo studios in 1989. There i remained until 10 years later . Jumbo was home to the future sound of London (FSOL), Reinforced records and 4hero . It was an incredible place and time to be involved in recording and playing music . Very formulative years for me . I have since gone on to tour the world as performer and tour managing and have my own recording studio where i continue to experiment with sound and produce music.
Recently i have started an online label to release any music i think should be heard . The label is called general sound recordings. We have a very low profile that will become more prominent as time goes by .
Here is our last release..... Delax by Undercover Cockney. (on apple music spotify etc)
A dubby and very chilled track with that haunting melodica as a tribute to the great Augustus Pablo .
I am a keen but amateur photographer also and a cryto currency enthusiast, which is how i found my self here on steemit.
I have much to share on here in terms of music , photo's and experiences and am looking forward to the future of this excellent platform .
Comments on my posts are always welcome . Lets build a community with open and constructive conversation .
Hey Nick, welcome to Steem! :-)
I suggest adding 'introduceyourself' tag to this post, it will increase visibility.
