Tuesday , 5 September - Teachers' Day
In India Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th of September as a tribute to the contribution made by the teachers towards the community. Since 1962 the day commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a great teacher and a staunch believer of education, known for his contribution towards the education system of India.
On this day we honor our beloved teachers who for their selfless effort towards shaping the carriers of their students and elevating the education system of India as a whole.
Teachers impart knowledge and motivate the students in the right direction, enlighten them and create responsible citizens and good human beings. They are the cornerstone of our future. Teachers Day is an occasion to pay reverence to the teachers and convey them that they hold special respect in our hearts.
All of us have been students someday and have benefitted from our teachers. Celebration of teacher’s day is a wonderful opportunity to show our gratitude to our teachers. Apart from the fun-filled activities Teachers Day is also to remember and get inspired by Dr. Radhakrishnan, who showed immense love for the teaching position.
All of you can do a upvote in honor of your teacher
Happy Teachers Day to all the great people who moulded us and spent their precious time with us. We will always remain grateful to them.
