I don't know how it was here in the beginning. There is loads of spam and the bots are there, but such things are inevitable. This actually means it gets picked up. The important decision now is how to handle this. The next step is enormous and hard, but if Steemit can handle the bots and the spam, it is going to be a moneymaker.
