Lets Explore The Khagrachhari Horticulture park
we brought four ticket and entered the park directly through a gate. This is the only entrance for this park. After entering the park, we see a small shop on the left side. Most of the products available here are for children. There are some hats and home decoration products for adults. What I liked the most about entering here is that the shop was selling artificial Weaver Bird nests and those nests are hung on trees which will seem natural to you. Balloons and various handicrafts for children were available in this small shop. We did not buy anything from here so I do not know the price.

There is a hanging bridge on the right side. This hanging bridge is one of the main attractions of this park. This bridge was immigrated in 2012. It is made of wooden planks and nylon rope. Below the hanging bridge is the lake. The view from this bridge is awesome. The authorities have given two warnings for traveling on this hanging bridge
- For safety reasons, do not swing the hanging bridge too much.
- Do not stay on the bridge for long and give others a chance to get on.

This is a horticultural heritage park with numerous species of plants. I do not know most of the plants here. Since I visited this park in winter, most of the trees here were leafless. Flowers, fruits, medicinal plants and other various types of plants were seen in this park. Khagrachari District Council takes care of all the plants in this park. There are rows of trees planted along the roads. Also, since it is a hilly area, shrub-like plants have been planted on small hills. The roads are very tidy.

Then we went to the long, calm artificial lake, the special attraction of this park. Since this park is located in the hilly zone, we had to go down the hilly road to get close to the lake. As you can see in the picture, the road is very steep. But the beauty of this lake will attract you a lot. I walked along the lake and enjoyed the whole beauty. The clear water and clean banks of the lake are charming. There are stairs to get into the lake water (not for bathing or swimming).

There are several open stages in the park. From these stages, one can enjoy the beauty of the outside and many people can gather here to hold various events. The one you can see in the picture above is a stage facing east. The view of Khagrachari city from here is very nice. The crowd was comparatively less when I went here, so I was able to take photographs of it. There are also stairs for going from the bottom to the top. Some stairs have been prepared by cutting the mountain and some stairs are made of tiles.

There is a shop of hill tribes inside the park. This shop, located on the bank of the lake, sells various products including tribal hand-woven clothes, traditional clothes, rattan bags, and purses. If you want, you can buy some products here as souvenirs and take them home.
There is a water fountain inside this park and an open area for sitting. Although the water fountain is not visible in the picture I took. For some reason it was closed but this fountain is opened for visitors every afternoon. People sit around the fountain and enjoy the cool atmosphere.

There is a children's zone in this park. Most of the visitors to the park bring children and enjoy their time here with them. There are various rides for children here. There are also several slides, swings, and a rocking dolphin. Tickets are required to enter the park. Only children need to buy a ticket to enter here, while adults can enter without a ticket. The price of each ticket is 10 BDT or about 1 steem.
What I Eat

I entered this park after lunch so I didn't eat anything heavy. Only the special dishes of the hill tribs are available here. I had a cup of sugar cane juice. It was quite delicious. This juice is prepared with sugarcane juice, lemon and some of their special ingredients. The price of each cup of juice was 90 BDT or 6 steem.

The best feature of this park was a toy train through which the entire park could be explored but due to some problem it is not operational. This train was able to run with a small number of visitors. I liked this colorful toy train very much. Even though it is in a non-operational state, I sat on it for a while. You could travel on this toy train by buying a ticket. I hope the authorities will make it operational again very soon.
Finally, here are the amazing sun set view from the park. Before I leave this park saw such scenes.
Pros and Cons of this park.
Pros | Cons |

One can learn about diverse collection of plants | It is a horticultural park, but no plant name plates have been placed, which means that many people are unable to learn about some unfamiliar plants. |
There is a hospital at the entrance to the park, so even though it is far from the main city, anyone who gets sick can get treatment quickly. | Broken plastic toys in the kids zone are a hazard to children. |

Thanks for your feedback. The site link I provided is the only official website of this park and is currently under maintenance. Maybe that is why we are struggling to access it. After trying 3-4 times, I was able to access the site. I think if we wait a little, it will be easily accessible. Please advise what I should do now.
There is nothing to do, everything is within the guidelines.
