Steem Atlas Ambassador - Steem Atlas Goes to School

Hello everyone, it's nice to be able to greet you back in cyberspace.

As a teacher in one of the schools in the city of Lhokseumawe and also a Steemian, I feel like these two areas are interconnected in the routine that I live today. In addition to teaching students at school with various materials in Grade 4, I also have a hobby of writing and telling stories. Luckily I know Steemit, which is an excellent place for me to channel my hobby.

I am currently one of the Steem Atlas ambassadors chosen by @pennsif among 5 other Atlas ambassadors, @damithudaya, @fantvwiki, @miftahulrizky, @mohammadfaisal, @willeusz, and @vivigibelis. I thank everyone so that I can contribute to this great platform, especially in the progress of Steem Atlas.

One thing I believe as a Steem Atlas Ambassador could be that someday Steem Atlas can also be used not only as a source of place information but also can be used as a source of information that can be used for education.

As it develops, posts related to Steem Atlas continue to increase. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest number of posts today, and the Hot News Community is where most users place their posts. I would like to thank @radjasalman and @heriadi, who are willing to support me in inviting many people to post their Steem Atlas posts in the Hot News Community.

_{Students who use Steem Atlas for information}

In the 3rd month after becoming a Steem Atlas Ambassador, now is the time for me to promote Steem Atlas in the world of Education. I try to take advantage of the information resources in Steem Altas to be a material support tool in learning, of course with the appropriate theme.

Today in the learning session that I teach in the subject matter of Social Sciences, with the theme 'Indonesian national heroes', I teach with additional information from Steem Atlas.

'Cut Nyak Meutia' is one of the great heroes who came from Aceh, and the theme of the struggle he did in the past becomes a teaching material today. I happened to have a post on Steem Atlas related to the history of his existence, and one of them is the Cut Nyak Meutia House Museum located in Matangkuli, North Aceh Regency.

The information contained in the post is a tool to find information on the location and history of the Museum. A good first step, in promoting Steem Atlas in the world of education and the opportunity to be widely known based on student experience.

As far as experience goes in learning today, Steem Atlas is used as an information aid. I saw quite a lot of enthusiasm, they were a little surprised to see that there was a digital mapping service that was different from before, with pictures and information that was quite complete.

Even in the next theme, the material on the theme of tolerance, discusses the holy place, namely the mosque. I took advantage of location information and Steem Atlas posts from a user with the account name @ikwal, who happens to have a lot of posts about mosques that children want to know, especially in the Lhokseumawe and North Aceh areas.

There are many mosque locations and information in it, which makes students serious about reading and using Steem Atlas as a learning tool about mosques in North Aceh and Lhokseumawe. This is a motivation and a small picture that Steem Atlas, can develop again in the future.

In the end, the initial steps of promoting Steem Atlas went quite well. Now Steem Atlas is expected to continue to grow, in promoting a place that is also beneficial in the world of Education.

As a Steem Atlas Ambassador, I am constantly trying to get more users to improve writing that complies with the guidelines.
