| Этот прекрасный цветущий яблоневый сад окружает печальное место в Беларуси. Мы побывали здесь 1 мая 2024 года. В Красном береге находится Мемориальный комплекс «Детям — жертвам войны». Во время Великой отечественной войны здесь был концлагерь, в который свозили окрестных детей. | This beautiful blooming apple orchard surrounds a sad place in Belarus. We visited here on May 1, 2024. In Krasny Bereg there is a Memorial Complex "To Children - Victims of War". During the Great Patriotic War there was a concentration camp here, to which local children were taken. |

| Во время нашей поездки была чудесная теплая солнечная погода. В Беларуси цвели сады в полную силу. Обычно плодовые деревья цветут не одновременно. Но в эту весну, благодаря удивительно теплой погоде, все виды деревьев дружно раскрыли свои цветы. | During our trip there was wonderful warm sunny weather. In Belarus, the orchards were in full bloom. Usually, fruit trees do not bloom at the same time. But this spring, thanks to the surprisingly warm weather, all types of trees opened their flowers together. |

Автор мемориала Леонид Левин увидел символизм в этом сочетании: сад – символ мирной счастливой жизни и память о страшных событиях, здесь происходивших. | The apple orchard was already in this place. The author of the memorial Leonid Levin saw symbolism in this combination: the orchard is a symbol of a peaceful happy life and a memory of the terrible events that took place here. |
| За деревьями, конечно, тщательно ухаживают. Среди узловатых старых стволов высажены и молоденькие деревья, цветущие особенно пышно. | The trees are, of course, carefully looked after. Among the gnarled old trunks, young trees are planted, blooming especially luxuriantly. |

I love apple trees and their scent when they are in bloom.
Let's hope we never have to see children who are victims of war again.
