Oggi torno con un post parte di un'iniziativa che ho ribattezzato Towards the Bikend. All'interno di questo articolo troverai una serie di immagini realizzate grazie alle foto scattate durante una gara ciclistica tenutasi nella zona in cui vivo, durante lo scorso aprile.
Precisamente, ho scattato le foto il 1° aprile 2023. La competizione si è svolta lungo i confini della zona industriale locale ed era riservata alle sole categorie amatoriali. Mentre i ciclisti percorrevano più volte il percorso del giro prescelto, io mi sono fermato in vari punti, fotografando l'arrivo degli atleti. Non ho fatto foto vicino al traguardo, spero comunque che ti piaccia quello che c'è.
Dopo aver scelto le foto migliori, ho creato una versione in bianco e nero modificando alcune caratteristiche: luci e ombre, luminosità, contrasti, vignettature. Prima di completare il processo, ho provato a rimuovere un po' di rumore dall'immagine: in questo modo perdo un po' di dettaglio, ma spero che sia accettabile per i nostri scopi. I canoni sono, come al solito, molto personali e non seguono i criteri classici insegnati dalle varie filosofie presenti nel settore fotografico. Di seguito troverai un riepilogo del risultato finale. Spero che ti piaccia.

Today I come back with a post part of an initiative I renamed Towards the Bikend. Within this article, you will find a series of images created thanks to photos taken during a bicycle race held in the area where I live in, last April.
Precisely, I took the photos on April 1st, 2023. The competition took place along the borders of the local industrial area and was reserved for amateur categories only. While the cyclists covered the route of the chosen lap several times, I stopped at various points and photographed the arrival of the athletes. I didn't take the shots near the finish line, I hope you like them anyway.
After choosing the best photos, I created a black and white version by editing some properties: lights and shadows, brightness, contrasts, vignetting. Before completing the process, I tried to remove a bit of the image noise: in this way, I lose a little detail, but I hope it's acceptable for our purposes. The canons are, as usual, very personal and don't follow the classic criteria taught by the various philosophies present in the photographic sector. Above, you find a round-up of the final result. Quando vedo le foto ricordo quando mio padre mi insegnò per la prima volta ad andare in bicicletta, salì e mentre faceva un breve giro andò a sbattere contro un bidone della spazzatura ahahahahah, mi avvicinai e lui si fermò subito, mi disse, prendi sulla bicicletta alare, forse era imbarazzato, la verità è che ero preoccupato, ma stava bene, l'insegnante aveva bisogno di lezioni :)
Dicono che i bravi insegnanti sono quelli che insegnano gli errori da non commettere. Quella di tuo padre deve essere stata una tattica per mostrarti che cosa non si deve fare quando si va in bicicletta XD

Ehi, ho letto il post sulla fotografia, il regolamento, tutto, ma non ho avuto il tempo di partecipare, scusate se non posso farlo, il lavoro a volte è piuttosto impegnativo
Non preoccuparti, non è un obbligo. Se vorrai partecipare, quando vorrai farlo, sarai più che ben accetto :)
A mio padre sarebbe senz'altro piaciuto di partecipare a una gara come questa.
