Being a school principal is a challenge in itself in facing various kinds of problems related to efforts to improve the quality of education and improve the progress of infrastructure, all problems have their own challenges that must be found a way out, therefore it is necessary to develop the right strategy.
This morning (Tuesday, November 19, 2024) I had the opportunity to become one of the members of the principal or madrasah head performance assessment team. In this case, the one who was assessed directly was Mr. @radjasalman because he served as principal at MIN 4 Lhokseumawe City.
A number of important guests and office officials were part of the assessment team.
The event was attended by important guests, including the Head of Pendis Section of the Ministry of Religion of Lhokseumawe City H. Zainal Abidin, M.Pd, Supervisor 1 Samsani, S.Pd, Supervisor 2 Nurlaila, M.Pd, Committee Management, several teachers and education personnel at school.

The event began with the submission of the principal's performance report for 4 years, in his explanation he conveyed all the achievements that had been achieved during his tenure as principal.
Many proofs of achievement have been achieved in order to make the school proud, including implementing various programs to improve the development of students' interests and talents, implementing literacy and numeracy programs for all madrasah students.
In addition, in his presentation he also conveyed the main obstacles and challenges during his tenure as head of the madrasa, the problem is related to the condition of the school building which is starting to be alarming and identified as a disaster emergency.

Even now, it has received a warning status from the public works and public housing office to immediately vacate several classrooms because they are suspected of having the potential to collapse. So it is forced that school learning activities must be carried out in the parking lot, worship place, and library room.
There are several obstacles that cause the construction of this school cannot be implemented and get assistance from the government, first the problem of rules and regulations so that local governments cannot help.
The principal delivered his presentation in front of the assessment team and a number of other invited guests.
Madrasahs are the responsibility of the central ministry of religion, but the problem is that submitting the application requires a very long queue because there are many madrasah schools under the auspices of the central ministry of religion that also need special attention.
In addition, schools under the responsibility of Madrasahs are not the same as those under local governments, schools under local governments each year have a budget of tens or even hundreds of billions to improve the progress of facilities and infrastructure. So we hope that the central government can understand the current conditions and immediately find solutions to all existing problems.
In addition, in his presentation he also revealed a number of strategic plans that have been carried out in an effort to get special attention from the government to be able to immediately renovate the construction of school classrooms.
There are plans A, B, and C that have been presented, hopefully all of these plans can be implemented as well as possible so that the hope that every student can learn comfortably can be realized soon.
After the performance presentation from the principal, the assessment team was given the opportunity to ask questions or provide constructive feedback on the principal's performance program, I myself had the opportunity to provide input to build the progress of the school. In addition, other invited guests also had the same opportunity to provide constructive input.
This activity is very simple but very useful for the long-term progress of the school program, of course the invited guests are experts in educational development programs, so the input given is certainly very meaningful and has an impact on the progress of education.
As one of the assessment team, I provide constructive input and suggestions for the progress of the school.
According to the assessment of the supervisory team, the principal has carried out the task very well and quickly in dealing with various kinds of problems that exist, they also appreciate the performance that has been done so far. After this activity was completed, the event continued with a group photo session and shaking hands as a form of farewell.
