Sweetflag Damselfly Through Macro Lens
Another Sweetflag damselfly was found hanging on twig near a little pond, as it was steady, I managed to get its pictures with my smartphone. After making sure that was a species of damselfly, I approached carefully and attempted to take a shot. It appears this damselfly had a quick response upon my arrival and it took off right away. This forced me to follow its way and make another attempt. Sweetflag Spreadwing is its popular name that has a small body, bluish body with smallest dots, found commonly at vegetated ponds, lakes, ditches, or slow sections of streams. Seeing that, I decided to take its pictures using my smartphone and macro in which I could perceive the detail look of this colorful damselfly. This species of damselfly belonging to the family (Lestes forcipatus) is a species of damselfly in the family Lestidae. I also saw some other damselflies inhabit the forest near the river and this one was actually found perching on the twig near the concrete stairs. This species is regarded as beautiful damselfly that mostly live throughout tropical countries. Look like a little dragonfly but it tends to be classified into damselfly.
