Your experience in teaching challenge vs individual @dove11

Hi, my dear @drhira I am pleased to participate in "Your experience in teaching challenge vs individual."

First, let me accept that I am here for the first time responding to such a contest started by you and also that it was a different experience for me although I have participated in different SEC contests being part of moderation teams of Hindwhale and Travelingsteem communities and written two contests each every time we were allotted SEC contests.

But the one I just concluded was my own because I have written all the posts myself based on my business and management experience; therefore, I consider it a unique experience for myself. Not only that, but I organized everything, moderated almost 80% of posts myself, and fixed the datasheet myself, yet I participated in a couple of other SEC-20 contests.

Here I would like to share a secret with you that my wife was suffering from a problem, so I was shuttling between home and hospital, but I never let the grip slacken and did everything on time.

I was the only team, if I could say it, the "Dev's Teaching Team," that paid 40-50 Steem every week in rewards to keep participants interested. In one week we paid 8 constants to attract as many constants as we could, and that proved a positive point for our team.

I guess the initiative taken by Steemitblog is perfect with as many as 17 teams selected for the ongoing challenge, although the number is supposed to be reduced in the upcoming challenge.

I feel the experience I had was a little different from what I expected, but I am glad that most of our constants were voted up by SC01/02, which was a positive feeling that should have satisfied the constants even if they were not in the top five.

To be frank, I don't consider we were in the role of a teacher, but I offered a few tips to the participants, and based on their answers, we provided points on a set pattern. Let me accept we considered the real business owners or entrepreneurs "first" compared to posts based on speculation or theoretical knowledge because we wanted to see what a business owner would do in a real situation.

As far as I am concerned, I have applied again with a different topic, although the theme is still the same with the difference that last time it was business management, and this time it is going to be marketing management.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me, and even though I did not get enough returns due to technical problems, that's part of the game, and I have no regrets whatsoever. Let me see what is in store for me in the upcoming SEC21, as I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I can say since I was handling this contest almost singlehandedly, I see no problem if I get the next challenge. What I can say is that I feel I can handle the challenge better on my own because then I can handle it at my own pace and see the contestants from a closer perspective.

I feel if someone wants to form a team, then both partners should have the same niche to work as a well-oiled machine; otherwise, the results will not be on expected lines, and this is the reason I have decided to do it alone this time around. However, I can say that working as a team has its advantages and disadvantages.

With the next season coming up soon, and if I get a chance to conduct one, I can only say that I will handle it more confidently and give the right candidates accurate marks.

I must say that this contest took me back to my business school, where I used to participate in similar assignments. I can also remember my corporate job time as a DGM (Marketing) when I used to talk with new marketing officers, telling them a few finer points. However, the challenges here were not as tough as I have faced during my job time.

But there is no denying about learning and handling the business aspirants on Steemit, and that's one of the reasons I have applied again.

As a Steem Representative, I will recommend to the Steemit team that this experiment is fine, but if they involve a few regular communities with conventional programs, say on a 50-50 basis, that will probably make the SEC even more interesting.

Thanks to @simonnwigwe for inviting me to this contest. In turn, let me invite @mohammadfaisal, @goodybest, and @muzack1 to come forward and share their views so the message reaches many more.

I wish I’d followed up your contest in the beginning because this last one I did actually opened my eyes to a lot of things I didn’t know about before through my little research.

I’ll definitely be part of this marketing and hoping to learn something new as well.

Ooh first of all I want to say sorry about the health of your wife. May she get well soon. Further I want to appreciate your way of teaching the students and giving away generous rewards to the students.

Thanks, she will be fine by mid-November and yes, for sure, I tried to keep our participants happy and interested.
