Thank you for commenting, Peter's experience ties together bits and pieces of my own experiences with how a series of events can reinforce a theme so that it is really more than just coincidence. Hinting at powers unseen that are acting upon one's life. Directing. And sometimes protecting from a definite disaster in uncanny ways. I love to see the "magic" in life. It is no coincidence that I have come across Steemit and the awesome people participating.
Ah, yes! Stories can arise purely from imagination, or be triggered by real events. I think stories that arise or are inspired by true stories, especially personal experiences, will have strong characteristics. Maybe it's because people (readers) tend to become more “attached” to the storyteller.
