The problem in 3rd world countries; we are what we say we are
3rd world countries are often refereed to under developed or developing countries. These countries in one way or the other are blessed by God with natural resources, but due to external influence or colonization, these resources have been monopolized and the host country is left in a devastating state (Neo-Colonialism). Most people in the world regard Africa in general as a third world continent and some part of South America. Here, i will attempt to outline some of the major problems facing third world countries;
1- Poverty
This is the major phenomenon associated with third world countries, children fall sick and die everyday because of lack of funds to sponsor an hospital treatment. In Africa, over 70 percent of new born babies die every year due to one illness or the other. This issue has been at least reduced by the UNICEF organization and some humanitarians and entrepreneurs.
2- Lack of adequate and sanitized water
This is a common problem in third world countries especially in the African continent. Although, there are many rivers and streams on the African continent, this natural resources has not been properly channeled into refined drinking water. This problem can be solved simply by providing efficient and sanitized machinery to provide drinkable water out of our abundant water sources. Bad water is also a contribution to the bad health of people inhabiting third world countries.
3- Bad Leadership
President Donald Trump in a speech said that if an African or Blacks in general are greedy and lack the ability to co-lace with each other. Leaders in Africa for the past few years has either been unsure of their jurisdiction or lacked the capability to govern their subjects. As a result, there has been mishaps in government and also mishaps in Justice. In Africa, before the coming of the European, there has been in existence what is known as the House System of Government with their functions and jurisdictions clearly defined, the Europeans on their wave of imperialism brought a different kind of government to the African continent, these made our leaders to be carried away either because of Money or Power, this problem brought about the Military regime in Africa where soldiers replaced civilian politicians. To solve the problem of bad leadership, the UN has put in place some form of machinery to curb the bad activities of these leaders.
4- Capital Flight
This problem is related to everyone in third world countries, rich entrepreneurs tend to acquire properties in foreign land, politicians elude with the nations money and stack it in a foreign bank account,even some 90 percent of students in Africa prefer to school in Europe and America so as to acquire the best form of education. This has contributed to the under development of these third world countries.
After all said, the next question that comes to ones mind is 'HOW CAN THIS PROBLEMS BE SOLVED'??? Keep the question in mind and feel free to add in the comment box, i will also accommodate constructive criticism if you find anything here skeptical..
