With the atomic number 7 and the letter N as its symbol, nitrogen is a chemical element. The bulk (about 78% by volume) of the Earth's atmosphere is made up of this relatively inactive, colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. As the building components of DNA and RNA, the genetic material that regulates cell activity and reproduction, nitrogen is a crucial component of all living things.

Aside from its role in supporting life, nitrogen has many other uses. It is a key component in the production of fertilizers, which are used to promote plant growth and increase crop yields. It is also used as a coolant in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, as well as in the production of liquid nitrogen, which has a variety of industrial and medical applications.

One of the most interesting properties of nitrogen is its ability to form strong bonds with other elements, including hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon. To maintain proper fuel pressure during flight, nitrogen is employed as a pressurizing agent in aircraft fuel systems.

A very informative post from your side. Yes, Nitrogen has number 7 according to periodic table.when I was the student of science then I always prefer organic chemistry over inorganic. Hahaha
