The Diary game. A Day of Fasting, Community Service, and Spiritual Reflection
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
We are now through the third part of this holy month, and we stick to its teachings and religious tenets very strictly. Observing fasts throughout these days is quite an achievement, and I feel satisfied with the way I have followed the directions.
Today, for getting up for the pre-dawn meal, I was an early riser and got up at 4 AM. Upon waking up, I performed ablution and then joined my parents, who were already in the dining room. After finishing the meal, I had some time to sleep or, more precisely, to take some rest. Then, as it was time for offering Salah, I went for the morning prayers at the nearby mosque.
These days, mosques are full of worshippers, and such community prayers are quite satisfying and even more rewarding. Upon reaching the mosque, I got into praying, and after about an hour, I was free and headed back home for a second spell of sleep, as these days, sleep remains incomplete due to getting very little time for rest. Later, I got up at 9 AM to get ready for the office.
We had been asked by our boss to reach the office right from the start of the day to ensure that most of the bills are signed and reach him for the payment process of the works executed in this financial year.
As I was quick to reach the office and abide by the directions, I went to the accounts section to check whether any bills had arrived there. Unfortunately, there were none yet, and a good number of bills were still pending with the Exen Office.
Meanwhile, I went to see the boss, who, after welcoming me, assigned me a new task of being present at the sanitation drive scheduled for the afternoon. I didn’t say no because of the rewards we receive for participating in such noble activities.
After offering the afternoon prayers, I was called by my colleague, who asked me to accompany him to the site where the sanitation drive was being carried out.
People had accumulated a lot of garbage along the banks of the road, and to enhance the aesthetics of the area, as well as considering its importance since it leads to a famous tourist destination, Yousmarg, this garbage needed to be removed. The waste along the roadside was quite a nuisance and urgently required cleaning.
The area where we were carrying out the sanitation drive was already quite beautiful due to the presence of almond trees, which have blossomed these days. These blossoms are truly beautiful and attractive.
After the sanitation drive was over, we went to see more views of the almond trees, and it was indeed a breathtaking sight. Unfortunately for me, I couldn’t capture these moments on my phone because its battery had died.
Later, I returned home, and everyone was in a hurry to reach home as early as possible for iftar. Breaking the fast is preferably done with one’s near and dear ones. It is also recommended to invite a few people for iftar, as it increases its rewards.
Later in the day, after breaking the fast, I offered the evening prayers, followed by an early dinner with my parents. Later, I went to offer the special Ramadan prayers.
At around 10 PM, I returned home and then headed to my room to get some rest. I scrolled through social media for a while, and as I started feeling sleepy, I put my phone aside and called it a day.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
