The Diary game. A Day of Errands, Family Care, and Spring Preparations

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

Because of going to bed very late last night, I couldn’t get up as early in the morning as I usually do and was a little late for the prayers as well, so I offered the morning prayers alone at my place. After finishing my prayers and making applications, I focused on my health, did some physical exercise, drenched myself in sweat, and burned enough calories to maintain a healthy balance within my body. After completing all my morning chores, I was ready to leave for the office, but my maternal uncle called me and asked me to accompany him to take my grandmother to the hospital, as she had not been feeling well for some days. To get permission from my boss, I texted him, and he allowed me to go.

We left for Srinagar city at around 11 AM and, after driving through some busy streets, reached the hospital at around 11:45 AM. On reaching the hospital, I was quite surprised to see people already waiting in the queue, and I anticipated a long wait for the appointment.

As there were a good number of people waiting for their turn, I felt I could do some shopping that I needed to do, as my brother’s marriage is approaching and is scheduled to happen in May this year. I left my maternal uncle with my grandmother there and went to buy some products required for ongoing maintenance work at my place.

Meanwhile, I also had my lunch at a nearby restaurant in the Nowgam area of Srinagar. I had to buy items like garden tools, tea, air blowers, and other necessary things, so I roamed around the street to get what I needed. This area of Srinagar is quite famous for such items, and I took it as an opportunity to purchase some things from there.

It was around 3 PM when my grandmother got her turn for the appointment with the doctor. After the examination, the doctor prescribed some medicines that needed to be bought from the nearby market. I bought the medicines, and then the doctor asked us to leave, so we headed back to our place.

As winter is over now, the streets have started getting busy again with two-wheelers and other vehicles, which otherwise hardly move in such cold conditions. It took me an hour to reach home, and upon arriving, I got freshened up straightaway and then dived into the tasks I really need to accomplish during this spring season.

Later in the day, I went to see my friends who usually meet in the village market, and after spending some quality time with them, I bought some items my mother had asked me to get. I returned home at around 8:30 PM. After having my dinner, I dedicated some time to reading Indian modern history before I started feeling sleepy. It was around 11:30 PM when I went to bed and called it a day.
