Sacrifice by Faith

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

The grace to offer all and mostly painful sacrifice to the Almighty God is embedded in our faith in Him.

It's almost impossible to sacrifice where there's no hope for harvest.

In the case of Abraham, he believed that He that can raise the dead womb of his wife to conceive and deliver a son at old age can also raise a slaughtered son back to life.

He obeyed without complain because he had faith on the ability of God to do the unimaginable.

Brethren, this is a great lesson to us today. What are your fears in the place of sacrifice? Why are you afraid of giving your only? Whatever you have, did you not receive them?

Fear is a proof of the absence of faith. It is a vacuum waiting for the substance of faith to fill up. Don't allow the troubles of life take away your faith in God.

No matter how long it took you to get the miracle, don't turn the blessing to a god. Be ready to offer anything because you judge Him Faithful.

He can do more than what He has done before. He can raise your Issac to life. He that gave us His only begotten son, how shall He not through Him freely give us all things?

Dear Lord, thank you for the revelation of your word in our spirit. Please give us the grace to trust you enough to let go of anything, no matter how precious it is, in Jesus name. Amen.
