INTRODUCTION

Hi guys good morning , good afternoon and good evening depending on the time you are reading this post how are you guys doing over there ? cause am doing very well here .
I want to participate on this contest that is talking about fast food and health .
Before I continue I will like to give a shout out to @abdullahw2 the organizer of this contest for finding out time to organize this nice contest so that stemians can contribute their points of view.

As I am going to contribute my own point of view without plagiarism of any kind pls do well to engage in it by commenting and any necessary contribution .I will be very much appreciated .

How often do you eat fast food, and why?

Fast food as the name implies are food that can easily prepared without much stress.
There are of various types,the way there are doing it here in our area I think is different from every other place .
For instance if you go to a fast food joint , they will tell you variety of meal there have varies from

  • Rice and beans
    *Beans and pap
    *Tea and bread
    *Noddles
    *Akara and pap
    Then you have to make your choice , sometimes you may be confused of what to eat before having a particular choice of what to eat.

I am not a fans of fast food because they nature of work I do require an energy food.a food that will give me strength to do my work perfectly.
Since my kind of work is a remote work we go to different places to work for different people,there are some places I go I may not see a good food to eat except the fast food in such situation I will not have any alternative but to eat what i see.
To answer the question I do eat ,i do eat fast food once in a while.

What are your favorite fast Foods? Tell us about them.

I don't basically have favorite when it comes to fast food,I can eat this one today tomorrow I will choose another one, like j said I only eat fast food when situation demands so as such I don't have favorite.
I can choose to eat anything depending on the situation and the immediate availability .so as such ,when it comes to favourite on fast food i don't have one.

What do you think are the biggest health risks associated with fast food?

Fast food usually contains a lot of calories, added sugars, salt, and and fat that are not good in health, which can promote the risk of many health problems. Listing here are some of the health risk that is associated with fast food

  1. Obesity and increase in weight: when calorie and high fat food are been consumed regularly,it can necessarily lead to obesity and weight gain.

  2. Disease of the heart and Stroke: When there is high levels of sodium, saturated fats, and cholesterol in fast food it can necessarily increase blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and heart related risk.

  3. Type 2 Diabetes: consistent consumption of fast food has been linked to an increased risk of developing hormone resistance and type 2 diabetes which is the most common type diabetes.

  4. Some Cancers: A meal that is heavy in processed and fast food may definitely increase the risk of some cancers, such as colon, breast, and prostate cancer.

5.shortage of nutrients : Frequently eating fast food can lead to inadequate intake of necessary vitamins, minerals, and other fiber.

  1. Problems with digestion: Fast food is always high in processed condiments, which can hinder stomach health and lead to digestive problems like Gas, blockage, and diarrhea.

7 .Mental Decline: Through a research Some people under their studies suggest that a diet muchly occupied by fast food may contribute to cognitive reduction and as well increased risk of memory lose.

It's important to maintain a balanced diet with a lot whole of nutrient-dense foods and limit fast food consumption to special occasions or urgencies.

Do you believe fast food can be made healthier? If yes, how

Yes, fast food can definitely made healthier. Menu modifications, change ingredient , and new solutions can boost nutritional quality. Offer roasted instead of fried choice, limited portions, and healthier sides like salads or fruits. Use whole seeds, lean proteins, and product that are fresh. Provide nutrition information and customization choices. Incorporate plant-based meat alternatives and sustainable sourcing. By introducing these changes, fast food chains can give a healthier options that help to the growing demand for nutritious and lasting food.
