What do you know about ear diseases?

I know that when I say ear disease, the first thing I understand is ear infection. Any kind of problem or illness of the ear is called ear disease. These are a little different from all other diseases. It can be due to infection, injury, or congenital reasons. It can occur in both children and adults, I remember the problem I had too. Fluid accumulates in the ear canal. The accumulation of fluid and inflammation causes discomfort which puts pressure on the eardrum. It is an important part of our body and ear diseases can cause someone to lose their hearing.

Have you know ever experienced an ear-related health issue?

Yes, I have health problem related to ears.When I became in class 10, I felt a whole lot of ache. Later I went to the physician and he drained some water from my ears. When the water started flowing continuously, I felt relieved. Later he gave me antibiotics, an ear drop. Within a week of using these, my problem was solved. Ear problems are a painful time and if left untreated, it can lead to long-term problems.

How can we effectively treat and prevent ear infections?

I will answer this question from my general experience. Ear infections are a common problem and can be prevented by following some basic rules.

• Use ear plugs while swimming this will prevent water from entering the ears.

• Keep ear wax clean - but do not use cotton buds, as they can push the wax inside.

• Keep headphones and mobile phones clean they can spread bacteria.

• Ensure your ears are protected from dust and cold air.

• Keep your baby's head elevated while bottle feeding this reduces the risk of middle ear infections.

I think it's very important to seek immediate treatment from an ear, nose and throat specialist rather than ignoring ear problems.
