What is obesity?
Obesity is a known as a medical condition whereby a person is been faced with an excessive amount of body fat. It is on someone's belly, which the person would then look like someone who has overfed his or herself.
Also, obesity is measured using body mass index, which, obesity, can result from a combination of factors like a poor diet, lack of physical exercise, hormonal imbalance, or genetics.
How does obesity affect our health?
Obesity affects our health in the following ways which I have listed below.
- It affects heart disease
- It causes a joint problem
- It makes us to have sleep apnea
- It causes certain cancer problems like colon, breast
- It causes mental issues like low self-esteem and depression
- It causes fatty liver disease.
Some effective ways to get rid of this problem.
Some of the effective ways to get rid of this problem are as follows;
- We should be eating a healthy diet like vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and several others.
- We should be doing exercises regularly to healthy and fit
- We should always drink water to hydrated, most especially we should drink water before a meal
- We should improve our sleeping as poor sleep can cause obesity.
- We should learn how to manage stress
- We should always seek the support of medical experts.
