What is Dengue?
Dengue is known as a mosquito-borne viral infection that is caused by the dengue virus, which is transmitted by a mosquito known as Aedes aegypti. Dengue is capable of causing flu-like symptoms and it can develop into many complications such as Dengue shock syndrome or Dengue Hemorrhagic fever.
What are the three symptoms of Dengue explain it.
The three symptoms of Dengue are explained below
Severe Body Pain: There is usually severe body pain in muscles, bones, and joints which is usually called breakone fever since it is intense.
High Fever: Dengue begins with a sudden high fever which is usually around 40°C or 104°F that usually lasts for many days.
Bleeding and Skin Rash: In some people there may see a red rash appear on their skin, and in most cases, nosebleeds, gum bleeding or brushing may occur due to low platelet count.

Health Impact: It causes severe fatigue, weakness, and most times life-threatening complications.
Economic Burden: High medical expenses for both hospitalization and treatment.
Emotional Stress: The fear of hospitalization and complications can cause anxiety in families that are affected.
How to prevent Dengue?
The easiest way to prevent dengue is to abide by the following under listed.
Avoid mosquito bites: When going to bed ensure you sleep under mosquito nets.
Eliminate Mosquito Breeding Grounds: Ensure that you clean and cover your water tank often and also remove stagnant water from flowerpots, containers, etc.
Early Detection and Medical Care: If you are experiencing severe pain, fever, or rash, seek the attention of a doctor and ensure that you stay hydrated.
