Hello dear friends! Welcome to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this amazing contest organised by @suboohi in this Healthy Steem community. The topic of this contest is about "Share some effective ways to reduce weight". So let's start without any more delay of time.

What is obesity?

Obesity, a medical condition in which the body of a person gain more fat than the normal and become obese. Obesity is a very dangerous disease because it can make a person's life miserable and difficult. Some people want to gain more and more weight by eating unhealthy foods, drinks and other fat containing foods, when results in obesity. In science, if a person has BMI body mass index is above than, 30 he is considered as an obese person.

Obese people face a lot of difficulties in moving, walking and some health conditions as well. Also, they have to eat a lot of foods to fulfil their hunger which later becomes a trouble for them. This is because, while eating, they don't care about over eating and the foods they are eating which results in stomach issues like bloating, heartburn and indigestion as well.

How Obesity affects our health?

Obesity affects our health badly because, it comes with a lot of diseases including the diabetes, high blood pressure, cancers, heart disease and sleep apnea as well. Due to all these reasons, the obesity is known as the mother of diseases. Furthermore, some times, the obese people are living with and nurturing up with all these diseases. This is because, at once they spread in bodies, it becomes very difficult to get rid of them as all these diseases are fatal.

Also, the obesity affects the mental health and deteriorates overall health of a person. The obese people suffer from overthinking, becomes angry over little things and keep an aggressive behaviour all the time. The of ability of bearing harsh words from others are very little. In general, the obesity is even fatal than we think as the life of an obese person reduce by 15-20 years due to the presence of all these diseases.

Some effective ways to get rid of this problem.

In this advanced era of technology, almost the cure of every disease is available so, we can and reduce or overcome obesity through the natural means and through meditations. Sometimes, even a slight change in lifestyle, can be helpful in reducing weight of body and making life easier. So, according to me, through following ways we can overcome obesity:

  • Always eat an healthy diet consists of vegetables, fruits, grains and lean proteins as well.

  • Try not to consume fast foods and cold drinks. Instead of cold drinks, try to drink water.

  • Make a habit of doing exercises on daily basis including the walking, running and swimming etc.

  • Try to take an active part in sports and in out door games like cricket, football and hockey etc.

  • Make a habit of sleeping and waking up on time and also, try to keep yourself busy in work instead of sitting idle.

Hi @abdullahw2 Obesity is known as a medical situation where the body of a human gains more weight than normal due to the production of cholesterol in excess. This is a situation which most individuals face, the excess consumption of food containing a lot of fat can result to it. People affected by this condition hardly walk or sit properly because of the increase in weight.

High blood pressure and diabetes are the major issues our body can experience if we have obesity. Obese people are open to all manner of diseases and are likey to have depression often.

Obesity is very common problem in everywhere. Poor diet, lack of exercise and other physical activities contribute to the obesity. Doing physical activities is a good way to reduce obesity. Good luck dear friend.
