1830: Courses begin at the Central School of Aegina, the first higher education institution in the modern Greek State.
1890: Greek politician, Philippos Dragoumis is born. He is the son of Stefanos Dragoumis and brother of Ion Dragoumis.
1945: The of Georgios Papandreou Government resigns. The next day a new government is formed under Nikolaos Plastiras, with the goal of repressing of the Communist rebellion movement of the “Dekemvriana events”.
1953: Greek politician, Dimitrios Giannopoulos dies.
