Hello Steemains friend,
Assalamualaikum how are all the friends of the community? Hope everyone is healthy and safe.I'm going to participate in the contest with of the Steemit Learning Challenge S23/W4.In this contest the organizer @suboohiI sincerely thanks Pakistani cuisine for organizing it.
✅ 1-Have you tried any Pakistan's food? Which Pakistan's food is available at your local places? |
---|
Pakistani food has a good reputation worldwide maybe I haven't traveled to Pakistan.Alhamdulillah I tried to eat a lot of Pakistani food, especially Punjabi food. Pakistani Punjabi food is more available as halal food when I trade abroad and I find these Punjabi dishes very tasty and tempting to eat. For regional dishes of Pakistan especially naan/tandoori bread, chicken biryani with basmati rice, chiken biryani, kebab, tikka, Golgappe, Chana Masala, chana masala, mutton kadai, chicken kadai etc.Such foods are available almost everywhere and are also quite tasty to eat.)
What I find most tempting is biryani and tandoori Roti or Naan and kebabs.
I'm Bangladeshi but there are a variety of Pakistani dishes available in my local area. That's because there is a lot of similarity between the cusine dishes of Bangladesh and Pakistanis, especially in our country, chicken biryani, beef biryani, Biryani made with basmati rice is called Kacchi biryani, kebab, Halim, chicken tikka, chicken masala in our country, chicken karahi, chana masala, Haleem,Nihari, Golgappe ,(which is very popular as chatpati and Phuchka of our country).

Tandoori, grill chicken is very popular in our country as street food, besides there is Halim at the main peak of popularity which can be bought for street food and various big restaurants. And what is known as meat bun in your country is known as burger in our country. And in our country all these foods are available everywhere and street food and which we eat when we go somewhere.

Street foods are mostly made in Pakistani style which tops our country's food list food favorites list.
Although there are two different countries, terms of food and traditional food, some cooking techniques are slightly different, but the food names and dishes look the same. Muslim countries, we eat such foods as halal food. Which is very similar between Pakistani cusine and Bangladeshi cusine. Each country has some traditional customs or local recipes that they usually make.Maybe in our country such exact recipes are not made, but the recipes of our country are very similar to the recipes of your country.
✅ 2- Make the given recipe or any recipe that you like from Pakistan's cuisine step by step in detail with pictures. Include your name tag with date in final presentationof recipe. |
---|
Pakistani cuisine and our country's cuisine are very similar. Like the popular dishes of our country are Biryani Chicken Roast, Korma , Rezala ,Jorda ,Semai especially such dishes are made occasionally or in any festival.
I ate chicken karhai in a restaurant but I never made it at home so today I will describe cooking the recipe step by step following your recipe step by step.
This recipe I will try to cook exactly the recipe given in your engagement learning challenge but in this case I will use some of my ingredients at the beginning or end of cooking.
Chicken | 500 grams |
---|---|
Ginger garlic paste | 1 ½ tbsp |
Coriander powder | 1/2 tsp |
Garam masala powder | 1/2 tsp |
Cumin | 1 tsp |
Tomato | 4 |
Oil | 3 tbsp |
Half spoon of | salt |
Sour yogurt | half cup whisk |
Coriander chop | |
Chilli | 8 to 10 |
Ginger | 1 Julian cut |
In the beginning I'll boil the tomatoes well with an onion and garlic and paste them in blender jar.
In the first step of cooking, cut the chickens and wash them and wrap them in water, then turn on the stove and add cumin seeds with oil in the pan, if lightly fried, then fry the chicken lightly for some time. Then add green chillies to it and fry them for a while to add the great flavor or aroma.A mild flavor of aroma comes in which I'll add ginger garlic paste and continue to fry.I'll fry it until the raw flavor of ginger garlic is gone and a very nice aroma will come in and I'll sotey it for a while.
Now on top of the high flamed chicken I will add tomato paste then salt, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chili flakes, chili powder one by one and add all spice and cook for some time.
Now beat the curd well with a spoon and cook it over the chicken for a while until the oil comes up.Then cover for a minute with a lid with ginger, raw chilies and cilantro.
This is how it's made by following your recipe Chicken karahi.
✅ 3-Is your local cousin has any food that resembles with the sharp recipe? |
---|
There's a lot of food in my local cusine that resembles what you share. In our country we cook chicken curry, each of these dishes is ingridient and the food test is very similar. Pakistani food in particular is more popular for spice fragrances and also makes it attractive due to its unique taste and aroma due to its considerable oil and ghee usage.
✅ 4- Which flavour or spice do you like from Pakistan's cuisine? |
---|
Pakistani cuisine has gained popularity as a traditional cuisine in South Asia. Under the influence of the Mughals, the cuisine of Pakistan and Bangladesh is very similar.Spices are mostly used in Pakistani cuisine in a very bonded style. Pakistani masala is very popular for its popularity and fragrance especially cumin, black cardamom, pepper etc. Mix in all different masala ingredients Garam masala, balances of the masala, makes every Pakistani recipe unique recipe in terms of taste. But the spices I like the most are cumin, and pepper. Cardamom and cinnamon in any meat cooking and cardamom in dessert item should not be perfected in this spice combination.
